HR Policies of Top Software Companies in India

HR policies are needed in any organization, as the company operates as an independent organization and not a small clinic; it relies on its own set of rules.

If a company spends a large part of its time motivating employees and addressing their problems, the software company would not go a long way. Nowadays, top software companies in India have adopted a new policy of Employee Manual Builder. This saves the company almost a thousand dollars spent on employee recruitment and helps resolve many internal issues that arise in a software outsourcing company.

There is ample text and guidance available on Google pages, Yahoo, and MSN sites. Various authors, usually running the top software outsourcing companies in India, share their views and experiences regarding HR policies and personnel management work. They discuss their experiences with project leaders, IT managers, and employee relationships. Such suggestions and insights help software outsourcing companies develop reader-friendly manuals, allowing them to spend less time handling personnel issues and more time running the company or department.

Effective Communication Needed in Top Software Companies in India

Effective communication is considered the most efficient way to handle challenging experiences in the IT industry. Employee expectations are taken into account, and policies are continuously improved in top software companies in India. Written employee handbooks can boost morale, enhance employee productivity, and keep the outsourcing company compliant with legal regulations. The handbook also outlines the code of conduct that every employee needs to follow in the software company.

Every Indian software company should have a defined corporate culture where misunderstandings, misinterpretations, or miscommunications that could lead to legal issues are resolved internally. A good employee of a top software company in India proves to be a powerful tool in management. They uphold employee morale, motivate the team, address issues such as sexual harassment, and ensure employees receive fair treatment for their work.

Hello Radhika,

Good post. The HR policies are directly focusing on the 'people'. In a simple way, it can be described as "If you care for the people, they (people) in turn care for the organization". Wherever people are involved, HR has become necessary, and this truth was understood in India, though late. Many companies started to introduce the HR concept. However, the problem in implementing HR in India, I believe, is that since it came late, it is now moving very fast. We must go in a phased manner and also steadily, especially when we deal with people.

Yes, as you said, HR plays a very vital role in software companies.

Best wishes,

Senthil Raj
