How Can I Make My Office Noticeboard Useful Beyond Just Proverbs? Seeking Ideas!

Hi Folks,

You will be working in different industries. I have a small clarification: In over ebullience, I ordered a noticeboard for my office. I used to put proverbs, and a few days back, I put the tax filing process. Now, I don't know what to do with that noticeboard or what information to put on it every day, or even weekly or monthly. Other than proverbs, please share your ideas regarding the holiday list or any leave information. We communicate through email, and we also have an intranet set up.

Please let me know; otherwise, I will remove it before my boss questions me. Have a good night.

You can put the list of birthdays and anniversaries of employees in the current month so that everyone knows in advance when to wish and whom to wish. Also, include upcoming events if your office organizes any. Consider adding sayings by renowned celebrities on motivational subjects, a list of holidays, and other related information. Being creative in managing these details is essential.

You can display the list of daily birthdays, award winners list during the month, and the list of employees who have not taken any leave during the month. You can do this along with the letter of appreciation, daily important newspaper cuttings, etc. These are a few things for display. Just try to think over like the above; you can display many things.

Yes, you can also display important emergency telephone numbers like the hospital number, police, fire, ambulance, contact person, and address neatly drafted in an Excel sheet. Additionally, you can include the topographic plan of your entire office/factory layout and many more.

You can also display employee achievements and why don't you pick up some good posters with nice pictures and a moral line relevant to the company, and keep changing one every week. Remember, it's very interesting when people stop to see those posters and maybe even imbibe something from that learning.

You can also put a welcome note for a new employee joining. Latest achievement of the company, new corporate tie-up, etc.
