I was working as a Senior Manager in a PSU. I was transferred to an irrelevant department by the management as a vindictive act. I submitted my resignation to the GM - P&A in person, and a copy of the receipt has been taken. I have 300 days of credit, and I requested to adjust 30 days as a notice period. I have a clear academic record and no disciplinary proceedings until the date I submitted my letter of resignation. The non-acceptance or rejection of the resignation was not sent in a written statement; rather, the management kept it cool.
After 8 months, I claimed my PF, GF, and others. They have served a charge sheet seeking an explanation for the long leave exactly after 12 months. As per the standing orders of the company, they should have informed me of the non-acceptance within 48 hours. What should I do? Should I reply to the charge sheet? Should I proceed legally? I did not hold any responsible assignment in the last 3 months of service until the resignation was submitted.
