Human Resource Development or Human Resource Systems by Uday Pareek & T.V. Rao and HRM by Subba Rao are two good books for performance appraisal and compensation. For O.D., there is no specific book available; you have to refer to various books.

There is a very good book on HR titled "PERSONNEL AND HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT" written by G.A. COLE. It is the 5th edition from 2002 published by Power House Publisher. Please look for the book and gather a few materials.
