Yes, but obviously, recruitment is a part of HR.
Human Resources means to hire or appoint human power (Manpower). The basic profile for an HR comes Recruitment. HR profile also includes Training, Appointing, Maintaining candidates' performance, verifying documents, etc.
The above-mentioned activities can be done after recruiting an employee.
As per the above conversations, my friend Jack has considered HR activities as a Sales & Marketing profile. That's correct. At the time of validating a candidate, an employee does Marketing and by recruiting manpower, giving sales in the form of profit.
HR of any Esteemed organization takes care of all the HR activities like Training, Salary formation, fulfilling basic needs regarding manpower, candidates' performance maintenance, etc. These activities can be performed after recruitment only.
So, yes, recruiting is the basic part of an HR profile.
