How Do I Calculate Employee Retention Rate and Convert It to a Percentage?

Dear All,

Kindly help me to calculate the retention rate for employees. Is the formula = Total number of days (so far) / Total number of employees?

Let's say I have 248 employees and their total working days are 79,612. Then, the average retention is 321. Is this in days? How can I convert this to a percentage?
