Confused by "ASAP" in Job Emails? What Does It Really Mean?

I received an email from naukri.com but I do not understand the meaning of ASAP. Can anybody tell me the meaning of ASAP.

"Please reply back mentioning your interest & send your latest profile ASAP."

I think there isn't any need to tell you the meaning of ASAP now as many other members have already informed you about it. Anyways, process the things ASAP as asked in the letter, and if it's good news, then congrats.

It's like when someone asks you to do something, they are expecting to receive or be notified of your actions as quickly as possible, in the shortest time available, or at the earliest opportunity.
