How Do Other Countries Support Disabled Workers Through HR Practices?

scrate
I am a vocational rehabilitation specialist working with individuals with disabilities in Maine, USA. I work for the State of Maine Maine Department of Labor: Bureau of Rehabilitation Services assisting qualified individuals to develop strategies to overcome/deal with their disabilities, obtain necessary education/training, and enter employment in an integrated competitive work environment. In the USA, we are bound by the Americans with Disabilities Act. I am interested in how other countries treat individuals with disabilities in relation to the Human Resource Function.

Hello,

You mentioned that you are studying social responsibility for a university degree. May I ask which university you are attending and whether you will be writing a thesis?

I recommend checking out the MIT Open Courseware for free online course materials from the Sloan School of Management: Free Online MIT Course Materials | Sloan School of Management | MIT OpenCourseWare.

Good luck!
