How Can We Identify and Reward the Best Teams in Our Travel Management Company?

I am working on a system wherein we can give awards or somehow encourage the best teams in the organization. The idea is to inculcate teamwork in the organization. I need the parameters or any method to be used to find out the best teams in the organization. Our organization is into travel and destination management.

You can introduce this award at work only if the work of different teams is identical and comparable. Otherwise, it should not be introduced. For instance, in your case of the travel business, one team may be handling local travel bookings, another foreign travel, and yet another may be providing services such as assisting customers with passports/visas and the like. In such cases, we cannot have uniform parameters. Sometimes, a senior and experienced employee in one team may possess a lot of knowledge and information in many functions. Suppose he shares his knowledge with other teams during critical times, how do you decide who performed the best?
