- UNSKILLED: 2600 + 563 = 3163
- SEMI-SKILLED: 2964 + 642 = 3606
- SKILLED: 3290 + 712 = 4002

Semi-skilled A: 3970.01
Semi-skilled B: 4100.01
Skilled A: 4230.01
Skilled B: 4360.01

I think the minimum wages in Uttar Pradesh (UP) for 01/10/2008 to 31/03/2009 are from the Government of UP Department of Labour under Section 4 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948:

- Unskilled: Rs 3649
- Semi-skilled: Rs 4160
- Skilled: Rs 4617

Daily wages:
- Unskilled: Rs 121.65
- Semi-skilled: Rs 138.68
- Skilled: Rs 153.92

Revised wages for 01/04/2009 to 30/09/2009 will be announced soon.

Does any member have the details of minimum wages for unskilled labor (housekeeping staff) applicable in Chennai? The Government Order (GO) is normally released in the first/second week of June every year, and I am unable to get a copy of the GO/published wages yet.
