Dear All,

Currently, this is only a proposal and will be effective after government notification, which has not been announced yet. Let us all be more careful before making postings that may cause misunderstandings.

Hi,

The note of Mr. Chandrakant is not supported by the document. The department has also not confirmed this change. I would appreciate it if the source is disclosed ASAP or the posting is withdrawn. Let's not lead to confusion!

Increase in ESIC ceiling. It is to inform all HR members and managers in Payroll & Compensation that the wage ceiling for ESIC has been revised from Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 15,000/- as per the Hindustan Times dated 20.02.2010, a cutting of which is enclosed for reference. A formal notification from the ESIC office will follow. Everyone is requested to complete the formalities for new coverable employees.
