A resume or curriculum vitae should be no more than two pages of A4, printed on good-quality paper in an interesting but clear font. It should start with your name and contact details displayed in the top center of the page. You should always include a mobile phone number and email address. If you have a website, then this can also be added.
Next, you should write a short description of the job or position that you are seeking. This should be followed by a list of your work experience, starting with your most recent or current position. State the job role, the company worked for, and the dates worked for, followed by key skills and responsibilities in the role.
Following your work experience, mention your education details, including exam results and academic or extracurricular achievements. At the end of your CV, it is a good idea to list contact details.
