Hello,

Could you please tell me what questions are asked during a telephonic interview for various posts?

Thank you
smunir
Dear Anjali,

Telephonic enquiry is mostly conducted to obtain the following information:
- Current designation
- Salary
- Whether the employee has been interviewed before?
- Candidate's interest
- Other requirements which we need but are not to be disclosed.

I have also attached the format of the initial telephonic enquiry.

Dear Anjali,

Hi!! Telephonic interviews are basically conducted to screen candidates and decrease the cost and time involved in the recruitment process. A small telephonic interview can help you decide whether to move forward or not. The questions that can be asked are:

1) Present Employer
2) Present Designation
3) Present Job Profile
4) Profile that he would like to pursue / area of his interest
5) Reason for change
6) Present CTC

After that, if you feel that the candidate suits your requirements, then discuss the profile that you are offering and check for his interest in the same. All these questions are valid for an initial telephonic screening round. In case it's a technical/final interview, then probably more insightful questions need to be asked.

This is just a brief... You can add many such questions depending on the requirement.

Hi,

I uploaded a file, but it cannot display. What is the problem? How can I repair it?
