Doing manpower audit of every department as a task to be completed in 15 days - how it is to be carried out?

Dear all Members, Good morning! We are in the phase of Manpower planning nowadays and are doing manpower audit of every department as a task to be completed in 15 days. I need some help on this like how it is to be carried out. Please post your experiences and views as well. Regards, Sdd

There should be a meeting between HR & concerned departmental heads to have a list of optimum manpower required to run the show smoothly in each department, once you land up with that, you can take an authorization from the Unit Head or the concerned approving authority so that HR can start hiring or firing as the case may be. HiManpower Audit is conducted to ascertain the utilization of manpower in each department/process. Example: let us take maintenance department in a manfucaturing company.
