What Exactly Does an HR Generalist Do? Seeking Clarity on This Role's Responsibilities

Can someone explain in detail what would be the job profile of an HR Generalist? I went through some posts regarding the same topic, but I am not very clear about it. My organization is looking for someone who has skills in all functions of HR. Can I call that profile an HR Generalist's profile? Please help.
