How Can a New Employer Verify My Work History If My Previous Company Closed?

sanmbk
Hi,

Please clarify this situation.

1) Candidate A is presently working in one small IT company named X. This is the only company Candidate A has worked for so far, with no previous experience.

2) Due to no projects or other reasons, his small IT Company X closed.

3) After closing Candidate A's company X, now Candidate A has applied for a new job at another company named Y.

4) If, suppose, Candidate A clears all rounds of the interview in company Y.

5) Then, how does company Y verify Candidate A's working details, etc.? How do they check Candidate A's work reference, company details, and other information, etc.?

Please tell the procedure of how the new company verifies Candidate A's details in this case.

If the company X was legal, then its members' details and CEO's or president's details can be found by the registrar where the companies need to be registered as per the Companies Act. From there, you can generate further leads to check the employees' references.

If the company X was registered as per the Company's Act, then the details of the CEO, president, or managing directors, as well as other members, can be obtained through the registrar. From there, further references can be generated to check the candidate's background.
