Read an amazing article in HBR today on "how to fix HR". The author is an accomplished person and is talking about how the role of HR should be towards "maximizing organizational performance". He suggests 5 basic means that should be followed in the company to make HR a strategic partner. The steps are aimed at deriving more value from the HR department. I highly recommend reading this one-page article.
