hello tejaswini,
good afternoon,
u are already experience in hr fielld for the last 4 years. but it is not sufficient because you are bcom, so you are maintain only 14 employess. you dont have any experience in large compnies culuture, that means you learn a lot . because i am not critising u, as a friend i give a suggestion to u. because human resource management is an ocean, there is no syllabus in hr. because it is learned from through experience, because in every company have some good values and visions . but employees are not following. you are maintain only 14 employees. so you can easily understand 14 people behaviour and perfomance. suppose take a example at present you are working small level company. you know everything about your company tranactions and others, why because you are maintaining hr and accounts, i will give a good suggestion to you. i requset to kindly join MHRM Course.or other wise M.B.A .
THANKS

Hi Tejas,You can try outfor a job,but i would suggest that you must apply to a mid-size company, rather jumping directly to MNC.With 4yrs ofexperience i think you wud definitely b able to get a good job.All the best!!!Regards,Poonam

Hi Tejaswini,
Please go ahead and attend interviews, only when you experience the interviews will you understand whether you would be able to get through the large MNC's or Mid sized companies. As poonam has advised, its better shot to try a Mid sized company and then gradually get into a bigger version and in bigger portfolio.
Try and get a MBA for yourself, this will add value....

Hi Tejaswini,
I fail to understand that why can't you get a job in MNC. May be because of slowdown, but there is nothing wrong with Your profile.
B.com is not an issue, either.
But yes, in MNC you may not have HR generalist position because you have not handled many people. But there are other profiles such as HR operation that you can always go for.
For a SME company , you are eligible for all HR profiles.
Till the slowdown comes to end, you may take it lil easy but don't give up trying. Something nice will definitely come your way.

Dear Tejaswini,
I agree with the previous reply that you should start interviewing to get an idea of where you stand. But I also think that you need to ask yourself what a "good job" means to you. What are the objectives that you want to fulfill; which areas do you want to focus in at work? Please remember that bigger is not always better! A large MNC may have a great reputation, but you may be confined to working in a very small functional area and have little influence and/or little scope to grow into a larger decision making role.
Good luck with your search!
