Is It Right Decission To Resign In Recession Time?

first of all your post is not clear. You should have mentioned,BPO in which area u r working?
Ok if u are not working in HR process. Then quiting your job was the rite choice:),But if vise versa its wrong:huh:.Bcos real time experience and a MBA will add colours and if you manage your MBA with good marks then its a 10 on 10.:icon1:

this is regarding your query.i think u quit the job if u really want to get in to the field of hr.however if u just want to finish your exams with a good percentage and still want to later work in a field that is not related to hr, then i think that quitting the job is not appropriate.
the job which u are doing now is entirely different from that of hr.Yes now that u have got 2 + yrs of experience then u can try for internal placements in the field of hr.Or pls concentrate on the present job.amd make it a point to finish ur exams at any cost.

You have taken the right decision. These day's many big companies don't allow students with low score even to enter for interview, first selection criteria is getting alteast 60%. You have already gained good experience of 2.5 years which will add to yor resume.You can always search for a good job but once you score low, you can never do anything to change your marksheet. So without any fear concentrate on your studies, you will definitely get a good job after your post graduation.

for a person with a never-say-die attitude...lot of options are always available. May be u gotta try harder due to recession but that doesn mean...if this job goes...u have reached dead end.
Education and your score will last longer than the no of years u work in a company-so put that in top priority if you are not in a postion to look after your family etc. According to me...U made a good decision.
If u have worked in say a field of BPO industry which is currently not doing well due to recession...highlight the transferrable skills gained from the BPO on ur resume instead of the usual...2.5 yrs-customer/tech support in BPO etc.
Transferrable Skills=skills that can be used in other jobs.
