Hi,

Can anybody tell me what is the formula in the Factory Act for "License Renewal" in the column 'Number of Persons Ordinarily Employed'? Please tell me what is the meaning of Man-days.

Thanks,

Mandays stand for the number of days worked multiplied by the number of persons employed. If there were 70 employees on a day, then the mandays for that particular day will be 70, and so on. The total mandays for a year will be a composition of so many mandays calculated on a daily basis.

Similarly, man-hours are the number of persons per day multiplied by the hours worked, and the man-hours per year will be the accumulation of so many man-hours.
