New to HR Studies: How Do I Start Researching Modern Recruitment Processes?

Hi all,

I am new to this forum, so I just wanted to say a big hi to all. I am looking forward to participating in interesting discussions here, gaining knowledge, and making friends. I am presently a management student (BBA) in Goa.

Can anyone out there help me with how to begin my search for good/latest HR recruitment processes required for my project? Suggestions, advice, and comments are most welcome. Thanks.

Welcome! You may please focus on the area of your interest within HR. Is it the Recruitment area you wish to work on the project? Have you found the organization to collaborate on the project?

Well, I guess if you require general information on recruitment and its process, you could just type in "recruitment" in the search tab, and I'm sure a little R&D will give you what you require. We have a lot of information posted on the same topic on this site already. Feel free to ask if you require anything in particular.

Regarding your process material, I would suggest you work as a part-timer in any of the placements and gather as much information as you can. If this doesn't work out for you, you can ask more questions regarding your query or problem. People like us on this site would love to answer and see what others have to say about it. I am new to this forum as well, just joined the forum two days ago and am trying to get acquainted with it. I post questions and forget in which group I posted them. It's like Orkut; when I joined Orkut a couple of years ago, I sent a scrap to myself because I didn't know how to use the tool. Anyway, let me go ahead and introduce myself. I am Preethi, currently pursuing an MBA from Bangalore. I am presently working on a project in HR in an aerospace company. I would love to get your feedback regarding this site as well as information about where I can access case studies and articles regarding the recruitment process.

Please go to the Downloads tab and type in your required words. That should help you to the fullest extent in accessing case studies, links to case studies, etc.

As Vaishali suggested, you could use the Search Tab or go straight to the Download Tab, specify what you are looking for, and get all that you want.
