Confused About PF Withdrawal Rules After Job Change from Mumbai to Noida? Need Guidance!

Ruchi Dhawan
Dear All,

I was working in Mumbai, where my PF deduction was for 6 months, but now I have joined a new organization in Noida where they don't have PF FACILITY; they are paying me as professional fees. I want to withdraw my PF Amount from my previous company. I discussed the same with my previous company's PF Consultant, but according to him, I can't withdraw the amount as it was deducted for only 6 months. He mentioned that it should be more than 6 months for withdrawal. However, when I discussed this with my current company's PF representative, he informed me that if the deduction is done for 3 MONTHS OR MORE, we can withdraw.

Please help me by providing the correct information as I am keen on withdrawing my PF Amount. In my case, the state has also changed from MUMBAI TO NOIDA. What are all the formalities I have to complete to get my PF money? Please guide me.

Thank you.

Hey, I'm preparing for my interview. I would appreciate it if someone could help me briefly touch on all these topics with the name of the originator, a brief write-up, description, etc. I will also share the same when I'm done with it.

Theories (Names of the people who proposed the theories), Job description, rotation, evaluation, unity of command, unity of direction, Delegation, decentralization, etc.

Hi,

If you have served only for 6 months, then you will not get the Pension benefit returned to you. That is, your withdrawal amount will not be 24% of the basic. Instead, it will work out to 12% (employee contribution) + 3.37% (employer contribution excluding pension).

Not paying your PF is not a benefit for the employer either. Probably the person involved might depend on a PF consultant who might not have guided him properly. So, speak to them and get your PF withdrawn.
