Notice Period Against Balance Leave

Hi
I have enormous amount of balance leaves as i have not been taking them in the entire year. But now that i want to put my papers down can i negoniate my notice perios as againts my balance leaves. In a indirect discussion with my HR i was informed that i can encash my balance elaves but will have to serve the notice period or else i will have to pay and buy my resume for nto serving the notice period.

Hi,
You need to refer your company's policy for the same for the treatment of accumulated leaves on resignation. In nothing is mentioned about this then you can negotiate wiht the HR for adjustment of leave against the notice period.
