Could anyone explain in detail about the PF and who is eligible for PF deduction? Also, from what salary range is this PF deducted?

Hi, PF is deducted on the basic salary of up to Rs. 6500. Contribution is 12% each from employees and employers' end. Employers' contribution is divided into 2 parts: 8.33% contribution to the Pension Scheme and 3.67% to PF.

There are various other charges which the employer has to contribute, such as:

There are other contributions also made from the employer's side, they are as follows:
- 0.5% of the pension salary towards A/c No. 21
- 1.1% of the Basic Salary towards A/C No. 2
- 0.01% of the pension salary towards A/C No. 22
