Should I Wait OR Quit During This Crisis?

Pree.Priya
According to me your decision to quit should based on what all your companies has given in its good times.Have you grown with the company, have you learnt from the company.Do not just consider the present bad scenario but also consider how company treated you in its good times.
All the best.

Dear Arsha
Greetings!
Don't quit your present job until you get a new job. As of now me too facing the same pblm. My management gave a alert signal to search a job. I know the pain and difficulties to get a HR Job when market is down. So better don't quit your present Job.

Hey Asha !
You have not mentioned in which industry u are in. Anyways as the market is bad, it is better not to quit. It would take same time might a month or two. Total industry is in this crisis. Plz have patience and we shall all pray.

Quitting now will leave you in distress, as the job market is really sluggish right now. So its better to be patient now and hope for something positive from your current company, like getting the pending pay.
In the mean while, keep looking for opportunites and avenues. If you get a get a good offer, quit and if no, keep trying.
Things are bad for eveyone these days, even for employers, so beware!

Hi Arsha,
If you are based at chennai, send me ur profile [Login to view], but dont quit ur job unless u get a new one since the job market is very bad and i had faced quiet a number of interviews after losing job, u cannot create a good impression though its not ur fault. Remember the job market is verybad and u need ur experience certificate to speak for you though the money does not, so stick to this and try to learn new things unless u get a new one. Equip yourself.. All the very best...

Priya

Hi Dear,
See, i would suggest you not to leave the job at present. In fact, i will suggest you that you look for some other opportunity in the market since u don't have work to do at office as mentioned by you so, this is the right time to look for jobs as at this point and time you can easily take leaves for the interview. Also,i would suggest you to go for either consumer durables or automobile industry boz as of now there is no news of down fall in these 2 industries and why i am so sure abt this is boz i have worked with automobile in past and currently i am associated with consumer durables.
Cheers

Dear Arsha
First search better job then quit from your present job. Jobless also headache.
So first search better opportunity for you, then take decision.

hey automobile industry has slowed down their production and this is not only in India all over the world. And we cannot say so b'coz of today's market's ups and downs. So try to grab the opportunity in any industry anywhere as of now to move out but make sure that u can excel in that offer and the work environment is good.

Priya

Hello,
I had a point regarding the employees having not received their salaries for couple of months. That being the status, dont they have any means, legal or otherwise to make sure that they are paid their dues? Can a company continue to employ people without paying them? And in case someone wants to take legal action, how should one go about it?
Maybe clarity on this will help others in similar situations.
Thanx,
