Hi Preeti,

It is an analysis of the product of hard labor. Don't take this seriously. No one has time to do the analysis. :icon6:

Hi
As per to my knowledge it can not be sweat analysis, it can be SWOT analysis of any product or process.
SWOT:-
S - Strength of particular product or process
W - weakness of particular product or process
O - opportunity of that product in the market.
T - Threat to particular product or process
SWOT Analysis is a strategic planning method used to evaluate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats involved in a project or in a business.

Hi Preti,

SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. SWOT analysis can be used to help in the pursuit of that objective.

Strengths: attributes of the organization that are helpful in achieving the objective.
Weaknesses: attributes of the organization that are harmful to achieving the objective.
Opportunities: external conditions that are helpful in achieving the objective.
Threats: external conditions that are harmful to achieving the objective.

SWOT analysis is management by objectives and is about getting the job done in terms of organizational needs.

On the other hand, SWEAT analysis is the planning and evaluation process guided by shared decision-making, empowerment, emancipation, and shared leadership within the organization.

The happiness of employees is the essence of organizational objectives.

The human factor is not secondary to the existence of the organization.

According to the reference I have cited above, SWEAT refers to "Strengths, Weaknesses, Expectations, Abilities, and Tensions that impact both the leader and the employee in achieving the goals of the organization." - Simhan

Hi, kindly go through the following... SWEAT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Expectations, Abilities, and Tensions) SWOT analysis is based on a bureaucratic model to evaluate organizational effectiveness. This implies that the focus of SWOT analysis is management by objectives and merely getting the job done in terms of organizational needs. In contrast, key characteristics of SWEAT analysis are that the planning and evaluation process is guided by shared decision-making, empowerment, emancipation, and consequently shared leadership within the organization. The human factor is not secondary to the existence of the organization. Happiness is the key driver to achieve the vision of any organization. It is a question of a shared vision, owned by everyone within the organization.

Strengths, Weaknesses, Expectations, Abilities, and Tensions impact both the leader and the employee in achieving the goals of the organization. Hence, to manage organizational change, paradigm shifts are essential to create a people-oriented environment as opposed to a strictly task-oriented environment.

SWOT analysis is currently used as an evaluation tool in organizations throughout the world. This is a technocratic, rationalistic approach based on scientific management principles. Evidently, research over the past decade points out that traditional management practices in organizations that depend on a top-down approach in achieving organizational objectives have severe limitations since they are wedded to bureaucratic control measures. This denotes that SWOT analysis is based on a bureaucratic model to evaluate organizational effectiveness. This implies that the focus of SWOT analysis is management by objectives and merely getting the job done in terms of organizational needs.

In contrast, SWEAT analysis as critically discussed in this paper is based on a collegial model. Key characteristics of SWEAT analysis are that the planning and evaluation process is guided by shared decision-making, empowerment, emancipation and consequently shared leadership within the organization. The human factor is not secondary to the existence of the organization. Happiness is the key driver to achieve the vision of any organization. It is a question of a shared vision, owned by everyone within the organization. Alludes to the Strengths, Weaknesses, Expectations, Abilities, and Tensions that impact both the leader and the employee in achieving the goals of the organization. It is a process in the organization that is not dependent on the bureaucratic, rationalistic model of determining job satisfaction; it is firmly embedded in humanistic principles. Hence, to manage organizational change, paradigm shifts are essential to create a people-oriented environment as opposed to a strictly task-oriented environment.

I hope this helps.

Hi,

I have read all the threads, and in my opinion, most of them are trying to reiterate about SWOT, which isn't the requirement. However, to my surprise, even Google gives only one pertinent document in this regard, which denotes that not many organizations have practically adopted the method. In lieu of the above, we should also try to give valuable contributions to the question. Factually speaking, being in the field, I got to know this for the first time, and I would encourage people with exposure to contribute.
