Understanding PF Contribution Limits: How Much Can Employees Voluntarily Add?

In continuation of the above-discussed topic, I would like to know views regarding the maximum limit towards PF contribution by an employee.

We are of the view that the maximum limit previously was around 42%. Then it became around 35%. And now it is 24% (including statutory 12%). I'm not sure regarding those establishments which contribute 10%.

Any opinions!

I was previously a member of a recognized PF Trust. I used to make voluntary contributions of up to 100% of my basic salary, over and above the mandatory contributions.
