Maximum Limit For Voluntary Contribution For PF By An Employ

In continuation to the above discussed topic I would like to know views regarding maximum limit towards PF contribution by an employee.
We are of the view that the maximum limit previously was around 42%. Then it became around 35%. And Now it is 24% ( Including Statutory 12%)
I'm not sure regarding those Establishments which contribute 10%.

I was earlier a member of a recognised PF Trust. I used to have voluntary contribution upto 100% of my basic salary (over & above mandatory contribution)
