Tamil Nadu 2009 Holiday List: Can Anyone Share the Details?

RAMESHANPT
Hi friends,

Could anyone please share with me the holiday list for Tamil Nadu for the year 2009?
RAMESHANPT
Normally, the Government of Tamil Nadu announces the list of holidays in mid-November every year. However, for various planning purposes, we require this list in advance. I am awaiting responses from seniors and colleagues.

Hi all,

Happy Diwali to you all. I need a list of consultants who can help me in hiring candidates for my company.

Dear Friend,

Wishing you all a very happy new year. In a year, there are three statutory holidays as per the government of India. The rest is up to the organization to decide. As of now, the general trend is to have a list of 10 holidays, including the three statutory holidays. In Maharashtra, you have one extra day for Maharashtra Day, and in West Bengal, you have one extra holiday.

The others normally include Diwali, Christmas, Holi, or generally local festivals. This is the easiest way to design a list of holidays.

Thanks & Regards,
