Hi Shabz,

The presentation on Competency Mapping is fantastic and also helpful for drafting the rules of CM. Thanks for sharing the presentation.

Hello,

Your presentation is good - in simple terms. Competency is often defined as a set of Knowledge, Skill, and Attitude - it's right - but to me, it seems to be inadequate. I found some explanations interesting - it is called CASH, KASH, and DASH leads to Competency.

CASH: Commitment -- Action orientation (act now ability) -- Strategy -- Hard Work

KASH: Knowledge -- Attitude -- Skills and Habits

DASH: Discipline -- Appropriateness -- Systematic -- and Happiness

Just brood over these three things, and probably competency becomes total. Any comments, we can explain each one logically.

Hi,

I have created some interesting acronyms related to competency:

SAFE: Speed Accuracy Flexibility Economy
CASH: Commitment Aptitude Strategy Hard Work
DASH: Discipline Altitude Sensitivity Happiness
KASH: Knowledge Attitude Skill Habits

These parameters contribute to competency. Any comments?
