How Do I Get a New ESI Code for My Newly Opened Factory? Seeking Guidance on Formalities

Can anyone help me with the formalities (Statutories) required to obtain a new ESI number for a factory? How can I obtain the new ESI Code number for a newly started factory?

Hello Mr. Shan,

For the new ESI registration:
1. Need to specify the type of factory.
2. Total number of employees working in the factory based on their salaries.
3. Employees drawing a salary up to Rs.10,000/- per month will be applicable for ESI.
4. 6.5% is payable towards ESI, with 4.75% from the Principal Employer and 1.75% from the employee.
5. Need to contact the Commissioner of ESI at your location.

Dear,

There is one Form 01 which is required to be filled, and you have to attach the memorandum and articles of association, partnership deed, etc., besides some other documents. Contact the nearest ESIC local office; they will guide you.
