Hi all,
Greetings! I need help. Currently, I received my salary hike for the current year. The hike was announced in February 2008, stating that it would take effect after the completion of the joining date to the company, i.e., in September 2008. My friend informed me that labor law states that from April until September, I should be receiving arrears, i.e., the difference between the hiked salary and the one received. I asked my HR, but he rejected it, stating that there is no such rule, we can give a hike at any time and mention that it will take effect upon completion of the date of joining.
Please help.
Regards,
Jeev
