Hi All, Greetings, I need help.Currently I got my salary hike for the current year.The hike was announced in the month of Feb 2008 stated that it will effected after the completion of joining date to the company i.e in the month of sep 2008..My friend informed me that the labor law states that from April till sep I should be getting arrears i.e. the difference between the hiked salary and the one received.I asked my HR but he rejected stating that there is no such rule we can give hike any time and mention it will be effected on completion of date of joining.
