HI,

The following is an interesting game on team building.

1. Divide the whole team in to 4 teams of 4 members.
2. Get 2 LEXICON pack (playing cards - alphabets used, instead of numbers) per team. (that is 2 pack per team x 4 team = 16 packs) or otherwise create A4 size boards and write alphabets A-Z twice per team.
3. Handover the cards or boards to the teams.
4. Now start ask questions that has to be answered in one word, say for example, What is the capital of INDIA, Answer is DELHI.
5. The team should not answer as they have to get the words from the cards / boards given, hold them in their hand giving the answers.
6. Team showing the answer first will got 2 points and others will get 1 point.
7. You can shoot 15 - 20 questions.
8. See the entire area is full of fun.

BUT THEY START TO WORK AS GROUP.

- They divide the work within themselves
- Everyone will contribute for the team success
- Communication within team will decide
- Depending on the answer, they will re arrange themselves - that is giving place for team members.
- OBSERVE WINNING TEAM AND LOOSING TEAM and you will get lot of information about TEAM BUILDING.

All the BEST.

Hi
Here are some very simple & interesting activities on team building programs particularly ice breakers
1) Balloons : have some three times like 100 balloons kept in a bowl - put one just one bundle of thread - divide the participants into batches - give then an assignment of Making say five bunches of balloons fully blown each bunch having five each and compete in time and quality - it will be big fun plus lot of learning how to use scare resources - planning and co ordination you will fins one of then taking away all the balloons and others being deprived - no planning no inter group co ordination etc

2 make the participants stand in circle get one plastic ball they should toss the ball randomly from one person to other no participant should hold the ball just pass it allow it for some and introduce second ball into the group confusion starts - explain how multiple activities confuse the group and how one needs to take needs to take care - you will also fine some members are totally neglected only few participate - for more complex introduce third ball - its fun plus lots of practical learning

3 Get some cockles ask them to stretch hands keep then each and ask them to eat all of them?? Watch the fun no one will be able to do it condition is they cannot bend their elbow - some one come out wit an idea each one eat others cockles finally jointly all finish

4 ) Word game – pick up five word related to the organization – write first letters in capitals in slips- others in small letters mix them all and ask all the participants pick up the slips call all the capital slips and declare them as leader and ask them to form the teams based on the words give small clues – there will some letters that fall in two teams but if they go to wrong team all teams cannot be formed- proactively leaders must search for the members and so on

I have used them several times there are dozens of such games it depends on numer of participants and the avialble time and space . Most imporatnt is not the game but inetrpreting the dat sa collected and relating to them
