I want to conduct some good team-building activities/exercises where everyone can enjoy and just love the game.

Can anyone suggest any team-building activities as soon as possible?

Waiting for a response!!!

Thanks in advance to all.

I am not sure about your budget, but you can consider paintball or similar off-the-shelf options. My best suggestion is to own a place and do some social work. For instance, we do quarterly offsites at our workplace, and our team did a few of the following:

- Plant trees in a selected neighborhood
- Fill the mud holes in a specific part of the city
- Visit an orphanage and plan activities with the kids

All of these activities were pure fun.

Hi Roma,

Is it a team-building event where a large number of participants will be present? I can suggest some games that can be used for a group of 80 people.

Caterpillar Race - Divide the group into 4 teams, with each team consisting of 10-15 members. Have them stand in a row and blindfold everyone except the last person. The last member will guide the rest of the team towards a designated point by placing their hands on the shoulders of the person in front of them. The first group to reach the point will be the winner. This game promotes teamwork and enjoyment.

Egg Throw - Arrange two rows of 12 participants facing each other. Provide them with eggs to throw to the person opposite them, who must catch the egg. Gradually increase the distance between the participants. If an egg breaks, that person is out of the game. The last ones remaining will be the winners.

Back Fire - This is a filler game that can be played during snack or lunch breaks. Request an activity in advance from a team member for someone else (e.g., Person A wants Person B to imitate Shakti Kapoor). Instead, announce that Person A will imitate Shakti Kapoor. This adds a fun twist to team building activities.

These are some ideas that may interest you. You can mix up the teams by using a colored ribbon method. Upon entering the venue, participants can choose a colored ribbon from four options, and then you can divide them into teams based on their chosen color.

Hi,

The following is an interesting game on team building.

1. Divide the whole team into 4 teams of 4 members.
2. Get 2 LEXICON packs (playing cards - alphabets used instead of numbers) per team (that is 2 packs per team x 4 teams = 16 packs) or otherwise create A4 size boards and write alphabets A-Z twice per team.
3. Hand over the cards or boards to the teams.
4. Now start asking questions that have to be answered in one word; for example, "What is the capital of INDIA?" The answer is DELHI.
5. The team should not answer as they have to find the words from the cards/boards given, holding them in their hand while giving the answers.
6. The team showing the answer first will get 2 points, and the others will get 1 point.
7. You can ask 15-20 questions.
8. See the entire area is full of fun.

BUT THEY START TO WORK AS A GROUP.

- They divide the work within themselves.
- Everyone will contribute to the team's success.
- Communication within the team will decide.
- Depending on the answer, they will rearrange themselves, giving place for team members.
- OBSERVE THE WINNING TEAM AND THE LOSING TEAM, and you will get a lot of information about TEAM BUILDING.

All the BEST.

Hi
Here are some very simple & interesting activities on team building programs particularly ice breakers
1) Balloons : have some three times like 100 balloons kept in a bowl - put one just one bundle of thread - divide the participants into batches - give then an assignment of Making say five bunches of balloons fully blown each bunch having five each and compete in time and quality - it will be big fun plus lot of learning how to use scare resources - planning and co ordination you will fins one of then taking away all the balloons and others being deprived - no planning no inter group co ordination etc

2 make the participants stand in circle get one plastic ball they should toss the ball randomly from one person to other no participant should hold the ball just pass it allow it for some and introduce second ball into the group confusion starts - explain how multiple activities confuse the group and how one needs to take needs to take care - you will also fine some members are totally neglected only few participate - for more complex introduce third ball - its fun plus lots of practical learning

3 Get some cockles ask them to stretch hands keep then each and ask them to eat all of them?? Watch the fun no one will be able to do it condition is they cannot bend their elbow - some one come out wit an idea each one eat others cockles finally jointly all finish

4 ) Word game – pick up five word related to the organization – write first letters in capitals in slips- others in small letters mix them all and ask all the participants pick up the slips call all the capital slips and declare them as leader and ask them to form the teams based on the words give small clues – there will some letters that fall in two teams but if they go to wrong team all teams cannot be formed- proactively leaders must search for the members and so on

I have used them several times there are dozens of such games it depends on numer of participants and the avialble time and space . Most imporatnt is not the game but inetrpreting the dat sa collected and relating to them
