I want to terminate one of my employees on grounds of performance by giving one month's notice. Could anybody help me by providing the required format for the letter?

One of the CiteHR members was looking for a termination letter for the following reason. Due to the current market scenario and subsequent consequences regarding handing over the "Pink slip" or laying off employees, this has become a general trend. Her organization tends to do the same, so she needs a sample letter for this purpose. Can you please post the sample letter here?
