New to Recruitment: How Do You Navigate Job Portals for the Best Results?

Sheetal.s
Hello all,

It's been a month now that I have joined a well-known recruitment firm and am part of the ITES sector. I thought that in big firms, the training on using job portals is provided, but it seems that they just show how to log in and the format. It's self-learning, which is fun, but since I am new to recruitment, at times I find it difficult to source relevant resumes. Is there any way that you all can give me some tips or recommend any websites I can refer to? I want to give my best, so I need some help. Waiting for your reply.

Hi Sheetal,

Always choose the Relevance option to get relevant profiles and always make your search broad. Then you can use the "search within" option to find appropriate profiles.

For example, when you're searching for a Sales Manager, your search keywords could be: 1. Sales, 2. Depending on the type of sales (insurance, space selling, etc.), 3. Location. By following this method, you can find suitable resumes.

Remember to always select the "All Resumes" option to access a larger pool of profiles.
