Need to have details on Part Time Employment Law in India & rules under S&E Act, can Any one Help me?

I am also intersested to know how organised companies manage Part Time employment in India.In Europe it is common.They are treated in all ways like regular employees with all benefits but lower salary for the lower hours of work.In India, you need to take contract labour and the contractor as well as the contracting company need to be registered and a lot of details are to be provided.If someone has experience in handling part time employment in a regular company, please share.

Part time employment is just like employing casuals.You need to give them ESI and Minimum Wages.

What about if it is a notice period , do they need to give one month notice or something else ?
