Is SAP HR the Right Career Move for Me? Seeking Advice on Opportunities and Courses

Hi All,

I have a total of 2.1 years of experience in HR [1.3 years in IT Recruitment and the rest as a Generalist HR] in Pune. I want to grow in my career, so kindly suggest if SAP HR will help me to advance further. What is the future of SAP HR? Are there ample job opportunities in SAP HR? Should I pursue the course only from Siemens? Is it a residential course and for how long? Where can I find details about Siemens? Are there any other institutes that can match the standards of Siemens? What types of jobs are available for SAP HR?

I am planning to enroll in a course in 15 days, so please help me make the right decision.

SAP Training is offered in two ways
1. Instructor Led Training (Classroom Training)- 20-25 Days training, extensive, entire coverage, ends with SAP Certification.
The next SAP HR batch will be strating from 20th Oct to 7th Nov 2008.

2. Online Training (E-learning Course)- Learning at the Contact Centre i.e. Siemens Training Centre. 200 hours of training to be completed with in 4 months
