Process On PMS - Retail Industry

Warm Greetings to you all....
We are one of the leading Retail Store in Chennai..... We are about to start PMS for the year 2009. For this we would like to know from where to start (Process or Guidelines) if this can be done, we can be able to start the PMS.
If anyone can know about the process of PMS in retail, kindly reply to this mail. If there is any other fixed format on flowchart or PPT, it will be great for me to get some ideas.
