Need A Manufacturing Industry - Salary Structure

Dear All :icon1:,
I've recently joined one Manufacturing company n after working i realised that their salary structure is very poor & unorganised becoz of which we have discrimination.
Me & my colleague are looking for a new structure to present to the management,
Kindly help us in forming new salary structure for our heavy plant machinery manufacturing unit.

First of all congratulation in getting into the manufacturing sector.
see you have to find out first wheather your company is coming under Central Govt. or State Govt. because if that is the case you cant change much in the structure of the salary besides few things you can modify.

Get a complete structure in near by similar industries and visit to them and ask them the various positions they have & their offerings to them.

Make a job description & job specification of each position & find out what should be the salary for that position. After that you only can able to know wheather their is disparity or not .

Hope you & your collegue have collected the inf regarding salary structure of nearby similar industries.
I am working in a PSU so we have defined salary structure very little we can modify in that.Thats why we have uintroduced various schemes in order to compensate those. It is not that we have only done many other cos have also done.
