Leave Policy Details

Hi all,

I am a HR-Executive in an Event Management company. I am making few amendments to the existing Leave policy which is not much organised. Can anyone enlighten me on the leave policy particularly on Sick leave. Is it true that employees entitled to ESI are only eligible for sick leave.. And when will privilege leave come into effect from the Date of joining of the employee.

Dear Asifa,
I will suggest u to refer Shop and Establishment book , you will get proper idea in leave policy , becoz its contains contract employee, on rolls employee,maternity leave and comp off , you also have to maintain leave cards for each employee. that will help you in salary processing.
