Dear All,

I read with great all comments but most of reply are marred by myopia of charity by engaging sopuse of employee of relatives of employee. If organization is recruiting any relative of employee does not mean they are doing charity or favour on employees or ralatives.

We must respect the individuals and employees as basics of business ethics. Indian context where population of eligible candidates are sohuge more than demand encourage employer or his representative a tendancy of promoting nepotism etc this eventually resulted in general option that employment means favour to an employee. We must understand if we engage employee that is business and we are not enganing individual human being but recruitine his skills and competancies. There should not favour to individual but to his skills or competancies hence we have to respect them and if we don't the employee will find his way leaving organization soon no matter how big or good organization you might be.
All big names and MNC you find attrition rate is result of such culture.

Look at positive side of employees performance and not his relationship with another employee because this cannot be treated as norms for disqualification.

Hi Sana,
I think husband and wife should not be hired in the same organisation. Its mainly due to following reasons -
1) Performance, Increament, Transfer of one person will affect the performance and satbility of another person.
2) If one of the is scolded by the Management the other person will be affected and will finally lead to politics in the organisation.
3) If two of them working in different departments then confidential informations of their departments may spread.
4) If one person leaves the company for some bitter reason the other person can follow him.
If feel these are the sufficient reasons for not hiring husband and wife in one company.
