Can You Offer Both Conveyance Allowance and Transport Facility in a Director's Salary Package?

I am deciding the salary breakup of the whole-time director. I am giving a fixed conveyance allowance in the monthly salary, which is exempt up to Rs. 800 per month, and at the same time providing the transport facility by hiring a motor car.

Can we give conveyance through the monthly salary and transport facility through CTC at the same time?

Hi!

You cannot give conveyance allowance of Rs. 800 per month if the director is already availing the benefit of actual bills for petrol reimbursement.
