Hi All!

I have been requested to document objectives for the HR Department and would appreciate your input to help me do it.

Thanking you in advance.

1. Decreasing the CTC by a few percent,
2. Decreasing the training cost for the company,
3. Increasing the number of suggestions generated by employees,
4. Increasing the number of quality circle projects that employees take up,
5. Increasing nominations for valuable external training sessions,
6. Decreasing absenteeism by a few notches,
7. Managing the budget allotted to increase the return in terms of employee productivity, i.e., units/man-year or something similar,
8. Decreasing employee turnover, if any,
9. Ensuring a desired percentage of employee engagement,
10. Improving interdependence among different departments can be innovative.

The above-mentioned are a few objectives that an HR professional can focus on. There can be many more. I expect others to contribute much more than what I did.
