Facing High Recruitment Costs and Limited Options: How Can We Hire Effectively?

best
Hi all,

I'm working with a well-known manufacturing company, and I'm in charge of recruitment. We are currently recruiting employees through consultants, but due to the high recruitment cost (8.33% as per my Jt. Pre.), we cannot afford to use consultants. Additionally, the person in charge does not want to advertise the job vacancies. The political environment here is also unfavorable, so we cannot rely on employee referrals. What should we do?

Thank you.

Hi there,

You could use job portals, but you have to invest something to gain something in return. Nothing comes for free. Additionally, if 8.33% is too high for you, you could consider signing up for something called RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing). In this case, the vendor would take on the project as a turnkey operation, which not only proves to be cost-effective but also ensures that you meet deadlines promptly.

Let me know if you require any further information.

Hi Imran,

Can you please explain in more detail about the RPO? I am facing the same problem of investing in the recruitment firms. We are using job portals for posting, but it is not a very useful source. I am working for an engineering company and am looking for recruitments related to engineers and sometimes also for back-office staff. You can send your reply to [Login to view].

Thanks & Regards,
Ruchi
