Hi Mr. Sambala,

You have posted a very good article. Can it be made into an SOP for the HR department? In some sensitive cases, employees will be asked to leave the organization by returning company property during the notice period. In other cases, they will be allowed to serve the notice period, and in some cases, they will be retained upon resignation. If you have a write-up or SOP for employee separation, please forward a copy to my email id - garudadri39@hotmail.com.

Thank you.

Hi,

Employee resignations can be very stressful not just for the employee but also for the HR. I faced this very difficult situation recently with an employee and decided to look up ways to make the transition as smooth as possible. I came across this article, and here is the link to it - [9 things you should do when an employee resigns - Quikchex - HR Software | Payroll Software](http://quikchex.in/employee-resigned-9-things/). It's very helpful in terms of a step-by-step guide on how to handle it.

Thank you.
