Dear All Citehrites,
This article is with reference to an article published in the Economics Times dated today about the new trend of Interim Managers in Indian corporates nowadays. What are Interim Managers? They are professionals who possess a pool of wealthy skills, knowledge, talent, and a strong vision about the trends prevailing in the industry. They work for a short term, often for just a few months, but in strategic roles to head a function or ensure the smooth integration of businesses. They also provide good strategic inputs in the company.
However, they work only for temporary positions and are paid lower costs than consultants. According to the article, these individuals prefer Flexi-Timings. I want to ask each of you whether the trend of hiring skilled, talented, knowledgeable professionals for short or temporary positions and also at lower costs than consultants is good or bad according to HR parlances or phraseology???
Do reply...
Regards,
Ashwini
