Travel Allowance for Sales and Marketing: What Are Your Company's Policies?

Can anyone help me out with the minimum and maximum travel allowance for the sales and marketing department? What kind of policy is currently in place at other companies? I need to know.

Hi Brinda,

The travel policy can be defined according to different levels in your organization. You can define these levels as up to Engineers, Sr. Engineer to Asstt. Manager, Manager and above, likewise. This will help you further at the time of reimbursements also. You may then mention various classes for each of these levels for travel through air, train, bus, taxi etc. The maximum and minimum levels can be set accordingly.
