Understanding HR Projects: How Do Independent and Internship-Based Projects Differ?

snowhite
I am pursuing an MBA in HR. We have a specialization starting from the 3rd semester. Unfortunately, our college does not organize any summer internship program. Actually, we are required to do a project on our specialization paper (lasting for a period of 1 year), where our college will issue letters to the organization or the person within an organization under whom we are going to conduct the project. Here, we have to collect data, prepare reports, graphs, provide solutions, and then submit.

Now, could anyone explain the difference between a project done through a summer internship program and one done independently by approaching a company (with a project duration of 6-12 months)? Also, how many projects are typically undertaken? Is it both the aforementioned projects or just one of them?

Thank you.

Hi,

I do not know what your institution's policy is. In general, the question could be posed as:

Question:
What is the difference between a Master dissertation, project paper, and professional internship?

You will find an answer to that at [link outdated-removed] ([Search On Cite](https://www.citehr.com/results.php?q=Higher Institute of Statistics and Information Management) | [Search On Google](https://www.google.com/search?q=Higher Institute of Statistics and Information Management))

This was found at [Google Search](http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=final+project+%2B+internshi p+report+%2B+differences&meta).

I hope you find it useful. Have a nice day.
