Hi,
HRM in the US means you have to be registered as a certified HR Professional from a recognized institute in the USA. These institutes are listed on the website. You have to be conversant with the HR practices in the USA because unlike Indian HR, the USA has a different set of business organization priorities and their modus operandi, or we can say modules, are different. For example, their HR professionals are specialists in any of the subjects with the latest software knowledge for BPR, SAP-HR, payroll, etc. Some psychometric tests are used in case of recruitments. Most organizations use point rating methods for job evaluations, and many use Hay's Three-Point Factor job evaluation, which requires proper training to evaluate ratings for each job and job families as well as job ladder and market pricing. Western, especially US, salary scale structure consists of minimum-mid-maximum grading structure and market pricing, etc.
You have to undergo training and exposure to US MNC to be acquainted with the HR practices in the USA.
