Struggling with Six Sigma Basics? Looking for Simple Examples and Explanations!

Hi all,

This is Vasudha, and I am working on a basic project on Six Sigma. I have done ample research through Google; however, I am looking for some formats, examples, or notes on the same. If anyone can help me on the Six Sigma theories, DMAIC, BSI terms, and certain examples that can be useful while explaining the terms to a layman, I would really appreciate it.

I need some help on BSI. I am not able to find many details on that. Just to give you an overview, there is a small training that will be conducted in the organization to explain the employees about the Six Sigma methodology. What we want is, before the experts come into the picture for training purposes, if we could impart certain training to our employees regarding the same. Just explaining them basic terminologies like What is Six Sigma, DMAIC, BSI, etc. I have found an Acrobat file that explains about DMAIC, but I also need help on BSI and its related terms.
